Building upon the country’s proven legacy of large-scale IT services, a new generation of Indian entrepreneurs is creating SaaS companies that address sizeable enterprise pain points —. While the past few years have been impressive, the upcoming decade promises an even more spectacular surge for SaaS in India. The number of $100Mn+ ARR companies is expected to more than triple to 30+ by 2031, just as India’s SaaS revenues are poised to make a massive leap from $8 billion to $50 billion.
As partners of this vibrant ecosystem, we’ve spent hours talking with SaaS founders and their ambitions for a global scale. Despite a flourishing SaaS ecosystem in India, our interactions with founders revealed three core areas where they required support to unleash its complete potential:
