Vishap Rana

Vishap focuses on healthcare investments across healthcare delivery, medical devices, and health-tech at Elevation. Prior to this, Vishap was an investor at Eight Roads, focusing on healthcare and life sciences investments. Before Eight Roads, he has also worked with a couple of public markets funds where he learned and applied value investing principles. Vishap is an alumnus of IIT, Roorkee and XLRI Jamshedpur. Outside of work, Vishap loves to play cricket, spend time with his family and read about geopolitics..Commit to the process, not the goal; curiosity, grit, and patience are the key tenets to go beyond the ordinary.

It is a privilege to witness high quality entrepreneurs in action defying all odds to create world-class businesses, often with beginnings in uncharted waters. The thing that inspires me the most in this job is the opportunity to meet and work with such visionary founders who have put their heart and soul in problem solving and are always thinking “why we are solving this” ahead of “what they are building” regardless of the size of the outcome.
