Nitin and Raghav set out on a mission to give every Indian "meri wali chai" (their own cup of tea) through the first Chaayos store in 2012. Indians consume 30 cups of chai for every cup of coffee, and while coffee chains were popping up across the country, it was hard to get good quality tea that matched your own taste outside of home back then. In a market focused on efficiency, Chaayos focuses on customer experience and creates delight through their offerings spanning neighborhood cafes, delivery, and packaged chai for at-home consumption.
